Sindhi women wear the shalwar kameez or the sari and the men wear the shalwar kameez or the kurta with pyjama.however,before the adoption of the shalwar kameez the sari and the kurta sindhi had their own traditional costumes.

MENS CLOTHINGS:

Men wear shalwar kameez , kurta,pakistani waistcoat, achkan and sherwani,churidar or pejama.other items of clothing include the jama and the angarkha.

Sindhi people wear a version of the shalwar called a suthan with a kameez called cholo.other tradition clothing includings the sindhi cap and ajark of beautiful design which are made locally.men also traditionally wear the dhoti and the long angerkho.

Lungi/dhotii:

The tradition male lower garment includings the lungi/dhoti. The wrap around the waist continous to be popular in the rural areas which is worn with local upper garments such as the angarkho.

FEMALE CLOTHING

Pakistani women wear the shalwar kameez which is worn in different style,colour and design which can be decorated with different styles and design of embroidery.the kameez can be of varing sleeve length.shirt length,necklines.the drawers can be the straight-Cut-shalwar,patiala shalwar,churidar,cigarette pajama,tullip trouser or simple trouser.

DUPPATA:

The duppata is an essential part of shalwar kameez ensemble and is considered a symbol of a woman's respect.Essentially the duppata is often treated as an acessory in current- urbanfashion. Most of woman who carry it nowadays, wear it just as a decorative accessory,wraping around the neck or hanging down the shoulder.most of the young generation in urban areas do not carry it at all.duppata is also used by some women when entering a mosque, dargah,church, gurdwara, mandir, it is the habit in the indian subcontinent for women to cover their head with a duppata.it is also widely worn by women in wedding and other parties out of choice.on such occasion it is wrapped round the waist, neck,or just put on a shoulder.it is used with different embroidery design of kamdani and Gota.

OTHER TRADITION DRESSES: pakistani women have a virety of traditional dresses in addition to the shalwar kameez but they mostly wear them on special occasion such as on weedings,engagements,mehndi and other traditional ceremonies.

The dresses include the ghagra choli and sari's which are very popular and its each design and colour seems Unique from the other E.g lehenga style sari,the lehenga is another popular dress which resemble a skirt but is traditional dress.the ghagra and sharara are two similar dresses which are often worn on ceremonial occasions. Farshi pajama is an old tradition dress which is worn ocassionally.laacha is worn in punjab, the lower part of which resembles the dhoti. Sarii is not only famous in india but widely wore in pakistan, specially in karachi, lahore and islamabad.pakistani fashion industry is vary rich in aesthetic and style sense .
